Data Retention Policy

Viddarpan retains user data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or to comply with legal, regulatory, or internal policy requirements.

1. Active Accounts

Data associated with active accounts is retained indefinitely to provide continuous service.

2. Inactive Accounts

If an account is inactive for more than 24 months, we may notify the user and school administrator, and subsequently anonymize or delete non-essential personal data.

3. Backups

Encrypted backups of our databases are retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes. After 90 days, backups are permanently destroyed.
